What was I thinking?
... when I decided to create a blog?
I haven't posted for awhile, but I'm not sure why I thought I could ever find time to do this at all. Tomorrow I start back to work and I start my three-week, three credit hour class on 25 of the books of the Old Testament. I've never been a history buff, and as near as I can tell from the reading I did in the three required textbooks I've been reading over the holidays, this class will be all about stuff I really don't give a rip about. We'll see. I hear the prof is good, so maybe I'll convert!
I'll try to find time to post sometime over the next three weeks, but with things as busy as I expect, I may not get the time. O well. Meanwhile, it's been nice to have a couple weeks off from work, and spend lots of time with family.
Phyl and I just spent the day shopping at Cherry Creek Mall and downtown, and saw the movie The family stone which I recommend highly -- very well done.
Happy 2006!

Hang in there, Ted, with all 25 books! Sounds like a heck of a lot to cover in three weeks. Have enjoyed reading the blog, so I will be looking forward to when you post again.
We'll miss you and Phyllis Thursday, but I am sure that will be a special evening to spend with Sue.
